Amber Oil

True amber essential oil does not exist. Some sources state that a dry distillation of amber resins can produce an amber oil, however, it would be very expensive and is not available in the commercial market to our knowledge.

Definition of a essential oil or absolute: True essential oils or absolutes are pure plant oils which are distilled or solvent/alcohol extracted from a single plant species. Amber resins are usually a combination of several different botanicals sources.

The amber oil we are offering is our own blend of essential oils and absolutes. It has a interesting, light, amber tone. It is not overpowering, deep and sweet like other amber blends on the market.

This amber blend does not dissolve in alcohol and is only partially with carrier oils. To use this blend mix your essential oil blend, add alcohol or a carrier oil and allow it to age. Filter the finished product.
