Referred to as "La`anah" in Hebrew which means bitterness. The chemical profile of White Wormwood is different than other wormwood species also known as armoise mugwort.
White Wormwood contains a chemical called thujone, and appears to have anti-spasmodic, anti-bacterial, diuretic, and stimulant properties. External use only. Must be diluted and used with caution.
