Lily of the Valley Absolute

 

There is no authentic Lily of the Valley Absolute available commercially at this time.

 

Scientific Name:  Convallaria magalis L.     

Country of Origin:  Canada

Distillation Method:  Natural Solvent Extraction         

Plant Part Used:  Whole Plant

Safety:  No formal testing.  Avoid in pregnancy, on babies, and children.

 

Test Results

 

Lily of the Valley Absolute is very difficult to obtain.  We had this absolute tested for purity by our lab. Unfortunately, the lab results showed evidence of adulteration.  If we can find a pure source we will make it available. 

 

Beware of sources stating they are using a natural solvent extraction process.  Every sample we have had tested showed signs of adulteration.  The regular GCMS tests showed very little conclusive information about the purity, however, the Head Space and Phalates  tests clearly showed obvious signs of adulteration.

 

In the meantime we have been trying to produce a Lily of the Valley maceration.  It is very difficult to extract.  We will keep you updated.
